Palm reading · the old art of chiromancy
Look at your hand. The lines are already there.
Palmists have read hands for more than two thousand years, from ancient India and Greece to the parlours of Victorian London. Hold out your palm, and we will show you, line by line, what to look for and what it means.

The four great lines
The heart line
The highest of the great lines, from the little-finger side across the palm: love, feeling and how you give your heart.
The head line
Below it, from between the thumb and index finger: the way you think, decide and imagine.
The life line
The curve around the base of the thumb: energy, vitality and the great changes of a life, never its length in years.
The fate line
Up the middle of the palm towards the middle finger: your path, your calling and how much it is chosen.
The four hands
Before any line, the palmist looks at the shape of the hand: the length of the palm against its width, and of the fingers against the palm.
The mounts
The soft pads of the palm are named for the planets. The fullest one shows where your energy gathers:
- Venus, at the base of the thumb: love and warmth
- Jupiter, under the index finger: ambition
- Saturn, under the middle finger: wisdom
- Apollo, under the ring finger: creativity
- Mercury, under the little finger: wit and words
- The Moon, at the outer edge: imagination
Questions
Is it free?
The guided questionnaire and your preview, with your hand type and a drawing of your palm, are free. The full reading is an optional one-off purchase, with no subscription.
How does it work without a photo?
You look at your own hand, and we show you what to look for. For each line you choose the shape you see from a drawing, the way palmists have always taught their students. Every choice changes your reading.
Which hand should I read?
Palmists say your writing hand shows what you have made of your life, and your other hand what you were born with. Read either, or read both and compare.
Does the life line show how long I will live?
No. That is a myth. Palmistry reads the life line as energy, vitality and change, and says nothing about health or lifespan. Readings are for reflection and entertainment.
